McKemie Place is the Region's only temporary emergency shelter for unaccompanied women, 18 years old or older. McKemie Place's main goal is to provide a safe place for homeless women to stay while helping them gain their independence. 

 Our goal as Catholics is to bring these ladies a hot meal, and by doing so, we hope to have Christ shine through our acts of service, to draw them closer to Jesus.
